Rope helideck safety net is a type of safety net that is specifically designed for use on offshore helidecks. Unlike the 316L stainless steel chain link helideck safety net, rope helideck safety net is made of high-strength synthetic fibers, such as polypropylene or nylon, which are resistant to UV radiation and marine environments.
The rope helideck safety net is installed around the perimeter of the helideck, and is designed to prevent personnel and equipment from falling off the deck during helicopter operations. The net is typically attached to the helideck structure using a series of stainless steel support cables, and is tensioned to provide a secure barrier.
